Return remote control throttle lever to idle posi-
tion and check to ensure that throttle plates are
completely closed.
7. Reinstall flame arrestor and tighten locknuts se-
curely. Position crankcase vent hose against
flame arrestor as shown.

ground (–) wires to transom plate ground point.
Accessory ground wires should only be attached
to ground stud on engine.

Connect any grounding wires or accessories that
may have been disconnected.

MerCathode controller assembly as shown.
Apply a thin coat of Quicksilver Liquid Neoprene
to all connections.
