higher to properly drain cooling system.
Remove drain plugs (port and starboard) from
cylinder block.

Repeatedly clean out drain holes using a stiff
piece of wire. Do this until entire system is
drained.

Crank engine over SLIGHTLY with starter motor
to purge any water trapped in seawater pickup
pump. DO NOT ALLOW ENGINE TO START.
NOTE: It may be necessary to lift, bend, or lower
hoses to allow water to drain completely when hoses
are disconnected.
After cooling system has been drained complete-
ly, install and tighten securely all petcocks or
drain plugs. Reconnect all hoses and tighten all
hose clamps securely.
4. Remove hose or drain cock from bottom of port
and starboard manifolds.
