Shift Cable Installation and
Adjustment
1. On bracket with two anchor location holes:
Be certain anchor stud is installed in the hole
marked “630.”
IMPORTANT: Check that shift lever is positioned
approximately 10° aft of vertical as shown when
in the neutral detent position and that the
distance between studs in the following is set at
! WARNING
Avoid serious personal injury or property dam-
age caused by improper shifting. Anchor stud for
shift cable must be installed in the correct hole
when using bracket with two anchor location
holes.

in. (181 mm). If necessary, loosen clamping
bolt and position lever so that dimension (c) is as
shown when in the neutral detent position, and
retighten clamping bolt.
