Loosen (not necessary to remove, depending on
amount of service required) metering rod cover
screws. Turn cover, or remove, to expose meter-
ing rod.
7. Remove metering rod springs.
IMPORTANT: Metering rod springs are color
coded and should not be interchanged with other
carburetors.

Remove nine screws to separate top and bottom
halves of carburetor.
IMPORTANT: Be careful not to mix metering rods
when removing them.
6.
Carefully lift metering rod assemblies straight
out.
