Low grade of fuel or water in the fuel

Fouled, burned, cracked porcelain, incor-

rect heat range

Spark plugs

Spark plug wires

Distributor cap or rotor

Coil

Poor insulation, broken wires

Dirty or cracked

Damaged or malfunctioning

Excessive play in shaft

Distributor

Engine overheating

Low compression

Restricted exhaust
