IMPORTANT: The Velvet Drive 5000 Series transmissions are full reversing transmis-

sion. Direction of output/propeller rotation is determined by hookup of shift cable at

remote control.

For Left-Hand Propeller Shaft Rotation: Shift cable hookup at remote control must result

in shift cable end guide moving in direction “A” when remote control handle is placed in for-

ward position.

For Right-Hand Propeller Shaft Rotation: Shift cable hookup at remote control must

result in shift cable end guide moving in direction “B” when remote control handle is placed

in forward position.
