SERVICE MANUAL NUMBER 24

Battery Gauge

TESTING

Use a fully charged 12v battery. Check voltage with voltmeter.

Connect a jumper wire from the positive (+) battery post to the positive (+) gauge

terminal.

Connect a jumper wire from the negative (–) battery post to the (–) gauge terminal.

Gauge should read approximately the same voltage that the when checking the battery

in step1.
