SERVICE MANUAL NUMBER 24

FUEL INJECTION DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY

INSTALLATION

Install fuel injectors and fuel meter body.

Install a new gasket on adapter plate.

Install throttle body on adapter plate and torque the screws 30 lb-ft (40 Nm).

Connect throttle linkage to throttle body.

Move throttle from idle to WOT and check that the throttle movement is not binding.

Connect the fuel inlet and return lines. Torque to 23 lb-ft (31 Nm).

Connect TP sensor, IAC, and fuel injectors connections.

Turn key to on position and check for fuel leaks around the inlet and return line connec-

tions.

Start engine and check for fuel leaks.
