SERVICE MANUAL NUMBER 24
MERCARB 2 BARREL CARBURETOR
FLOAT BOWL
IMPORTANT: Place float bowl and  throttle assemblies in holding fixture to prevent
throttle valves from being damaged.
1.
Install check ball, spring, and retainer in passage. Push retainer firmly into slots.

Install new gasket on venturi cluster.

3.
Install venturi cluster in carburetor.

4.
Install flat washer and new fiber washer on center screw. Lockwashers and flat washers
are used on outer screws. Tighten screws evenly and securely.
