FUEL INJECTION DISASSEMBLY AND REASSSEMBLY

SERVICE MANUAL NUMBER 24

Connect the harness connectors to the TP sensor and IAC valve.

a - IAC Valve Connector

b - Throttle Position Sensor Connector

Connect the throttle cable to the throttle lever. Refer to SECTION 2 for throttle cable

adjustment.

Install the flame arrestor and tighten the clamp.

Install the flame arrestor cover bracket.

Install the flame arrestor cover.

Throttle Position Sensor

NOTICE

Refer to “Service Precautions,” in front of this section BEFORE proceeding.

Remove the flame arrestor cover.

Remove the flame arrestor from the throttle body.

Disconnect the harness connector from the TP sensor.

Remove the throttle body from the adapter.

Disconnect the harness connector from the TP sensor.

Remove the screws from the TP sensor.

Remove the TP sensor from the throttle body.
