SERVICE MANUAL NUMBER 23
HURTH V-DRIVE TRANSMISSION
Draining Transmission
1.
Clean the exterior of transmission before disassembly.
NOTE: Later model Hurth transmissions will be equipped with an allen head socket screw
on the oil filter cover.
2.
Remove oil filter from  housing by turning (counterclockwise) and pulling  at the same
time.

3.
Remove drain plug from transmission and allow fluid to drain. Reinstall drain plug and
tighten securely.
