CLEANING AND INSPECTION

Clean and inspect surfaces of IAT sensor with a dry cloth.
Inspect IAT sensor for signs of wear and/or damage.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install the IAT sensor in the plenum. TIGHTEN 2-1/2 TURNS MAXIMUM.

Connect harness connector to the IAT sensor.
Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve
NOTICE
Refer to “Precautions” in this section, BEFORE proceeding.
REMOVAL
1.
2.
Remove the flame arrestor, throttle cable and throttle body.
Remove the IAC valve from the throttle body.
