FUEL COOLER-TO-FUEL RAIL LINE (MEFI 3)
There are several differences in fuel cooler to fuel rail lines in MEFI 3 models. Refer to SEC-
TION 5A for complete instructions.

REMOVAL

Remove flame arrestor, throttle body, and plenum as outlined in this section.
Disconnect electrical connector at each fuel injector.
Remove fuel line retainer from fuel rail. Remove inlet fuel line from fuel rail.
