Remove water separating fuel filter and sealing ring from mounting bracket and discard.

Coat sealing ring on new filter with motor oil. Thread filter onto bracket and tighten
securely by hand. Do not use a filter wrench.
Start and run engine. Check filter connection for gasoline leaks. If leaks exist. recheck
filter installation.
Install cover pieces around fuel filter. Be certain top part of cover latches to lower part.
