Install a new O-ring onto the shaft end plug.
Lightly lubricate the O-ring with 2-4-C Marine Lubricant with Teflon and insert the plug
into the shaft end. Be careful not to damage the O-ring. A damaged O-ring will cause
a vacuum leak.

Align the cotter pin holes and secure the end plug to the shaft with a cotter pin. Spread
both ends of the cotter pin.

Liberally apply 2-4-C Marine Lubricant with Teflon to each side of the slide rails and
wheel.

Install a paper gasket onto the end plate. Hold the gasket in place with 2-4-C Marine
Lubricant with Teflon.
