Power Shift Cylinder Repair
Removal

Loosen the clamps (2) and remove the dust cover from the valve guide brackets.
Remove the inlet hose clamp at the inlet flange and remove the inlet hose.
Remove the lag screws or bolts that anchor the cylinder to the boat.
Remove the cylinder from the mounting surface.
Disassembly
1.
Remove the 4 bolts and lockwashers on the end plate. Then, remove the cylinder.

Remove the piston seal and O-ring from the piston. The O-ring is located under the pis-
ton seal in the same groove.

Remove the cotter pin securing the shaft end plug.
Remove the snap ring that secures the piston to the shaft.
