Torquing Outer Prop Shaft Bearing Retainer and Bearing Carrier
Use the following procedure to allow torquing outer prop shaft bearing retainer and bearing
carrier with a torque wrench.
1.
On beam-type torque wrenches, measure from square drive to fulcrum (pivot) point of
handle.
2.
On click-stop or dial type torque wrenches, measure from square drive to reference
mark on handle (two bands, etc.).
