Remove pinion gear nut  and washer. Hold drive shaft using drive shaft  adaptor tool.

d  - Bearing Carrier Retainer

Remove clamp plate (installed in Step 2), then remove O-ring, spacer, shim(s) and tab
washer. Retain shims for reassembly.

I could not find any mention of the seawater pump assembly.
Maybe I have the wrong unit
