SERVICE MANUAL NUMBER 28
CORROSION PROTECTION - ALL MODELS
CAUTION
To be  effective, new anodic  plate MUST  make good electrical  contact with gear
housing.
3.
Scrape  anodic plate  mounting surface on gear housing down to  bare metal.
Install anodic plate. Torque screw  to 30 lb-ft (41 Nm).

e  - Screw
5.
Reinstall plug in driveshaft  housing.
