Remove and discard the  poppet valves.

a  - Poppet Valve
CAUTION
Use care in removing check valve bodies from adapter, so as not to damage poppet
valve seat surface on  valve body.

Remove the check valve bodies and spool using a 1/4 in. diameter metal rod and plastic
hammer.

Remove and discard the O-rings  on the hex plug retainers.
Discard the check valve bodies.
