Press drive shaft pinion bearing inner race from drive shaft, using universal puller plate.

Pinion Bearing Removal
IMPORTANT: All needle bearings MUST BE in place inside bearing casing while driv-
ing pinion bearing from gear case or bearing casing will bend or break and become
difficult to remove.

Heat area around bearing remover to approximately 200° F (93.3_C) to ease removal.
Do not use open flame.
Remove pinion bearing using bearing remover, driver rod and bearing driver as a pilot.
