Thread the hex plug retainers into  the adapter by hand until the retainer contacts the
check valve body.

c  - Hex Plug Retainer (2)
IMPORTANT: Hex plug retainers MUST BE turned into adapter exactly as outlined or
damage to check valve body  O-rings may result.
13.
Tighten the hex plug retainer  securely on each side.
