MAINTENANCE

Repeatedly clean out drain holes using a stiff piece of wire. Do this until entire system

is drained.

Remove both hoses from seawater pump.

a - Seawater Inlet Hose

b - Seawater Outlet Hose

MCM Only: Insert a small wire (repeatedly) to make sure that speedometer pitot tube,

trim tab cavity vent hole and trim tab cavity drain passage are unobstructed and drained.

a - Speedometer Pitot Tube

b - Anode Cavity Vent Hole

c - Anode Cavity Drain Passage

Crank engine over slightly with starter motor to purge any water trapped in seawater

pickup pump. DO NOT ALLOW ENGINE TO START.
