Using valve spring compressor, compress valve spring and remove valve locks.

a - Valve Spring Compressor (S6121)

b - Rocker Arm Nut

Slowly release valve spring compressor. Remove cap, shield and valve spring.

IMPORTANT: Maintain air pressure in cylinder while springs, caps and valve locks are

removed or valves will fall into cylinder.

Remove oil shields from valve stems.
