SERVICE MANUAL NUMBER 30

Turn nut until face of pulley is even with edge of shaft.

a - Power Steering Pump Pulley

b - Stud

c - Bearing

d - Nut

e - Tool Shaft

Power Steering Pump

IMPORTANT: Power Steering Pumps are considered non-repairable units and are

intended to be replaced with new units.

Removal

Remove serpentine belt.

Remove 3 bolts fastening power steering pump to engine. Retain bolts.

Slide fluid reservoir out of the fastening bracket.

Drain fluid from pump and reservoir into appropriate container.
