Removal

Remove oil pan.

Remove oil pump.

a - Oil Pump

b - Oil Pump Bolt

Disassembly

Remove pump cover.

IMPORTANT: Mark gear teeth for reassembly with same teeth indexing.

Remove idler gear and drive gear from pump body.

CAUTION

Regulator valve spring is compressed use care when removing retaining pin.

Remove retaining pin from pump cover with a punch. Spring may release violently.

Remove pressure regulator valve from pump cover.
