TEST FOR GROUND

With continuity meter, place one lead on armature core or shaft and other lead on com-
mutator.
If meter hand moves, armature is grounded and must be replaced.

Reassembly

Install brush holder and bearing on armature.
Align brush lead grommet with field frame cut-out. Align holes of end frame with holes
of brush holder and drive housing. Install end frame on brush holder. Tighten screws
securely.
