Removal

Remove engine from boat. Refer to SECTION 2 “Removal and Installation.”
Refer to “Flywheel Housing” description in this section and remove flywheel housing and
related parts.

Remove MCM coupler.
Remove flywheel.

Alpha One Coupler
Inspection
1.
2.
Inspect splines in coupler for wear.
Check flywheel ring gear for worn and missing teeth.
