E. U - Shaped Lounger Seating
U-shaped seating is found in the Funship™ models.
Large amounts of storage space are located under ei-
ther the removeable seat cushions (214) or the hinged
seat cushions (234 & 264).
Always use the engine hatch’s prop rod when
working on the engine. This provides added
safety while helping to prolong the life of the
screw jack and engine hatch.
F.
Motorhood (Engine Hatch)
The motorhood is incorporated in the U-shaped seating
arrangement. To gain access to the engine follow the
instructions listed:
NOTICE
Never operate or trailer your boat with the en-
gine hatch in its open position. Doing so could
result in damage to the engine hatch, hardware,
and/or loss of cushions.
1.
The Funship™ models feature a motorhood or en-
gine hatch with an electric screw jack. The screw jack
lifts and lowers the engine hatch by pressing the switch
located on the dash. The screw jack runs off the boat’s
battery. The prop rod should always be utilized to help
support the weight of the engine hatch and to provide
added safety while working on the engine. See Figure
N8.
NOTICE
If manually lowering the motorhood, do not al-
low the motorhood to “slam” shut. Gently guide
the motorbox into the “closed” position. Allow-
ing the motorbox to “slam” shut can damage
the fiberglass motorbox.
