Hydraulic Roller Valve Lifters
Hydraulic valve lifters require little attention. Lifters are extremely simple in design.
Normally, readjustments are not necessary and servicing requires only that care and
cleanliness be exercised in the handling of parts.

- Push Rod Seat

- Lifter Body
Valve lifters are retained in position and prevented from rotating by two valve retainers, one
on each side of the engine beneath the intake manifold. Care should be exercised when
installing the retainers to see that the flat portions of the lifters are properly positioned into
the retainers.
