C. Corrosion Prevention

Anticorrosion anodes are attached to the transom and

propeller shafts to prevent corrosion to your electrical

systems andunderwaterparts. Theseanodeswillslowly

erode away by galvanic action and require periodic in-

spection. Please refer to the section on “Anti-Corrosion

Anodes” in your engine manufacturer’s manual for addi-

tional information. See Figure H5.
