walk-thru backrest and stay inside cockpit
while underway.
To prevent personal injury, swim platform
must not be occupied and transom walk-thru
backrest door must be in place while engines
are running.

M. Cockpit Aft Fill-In Backrest (Door)
The cockpit aft fill-in center backrest (door) and aft fill-
in.center.walk-over.cushion.are.available.on.certain.
models.only..A.backrest.and.cushion.are.removable.to.
allow.walk-over.access.from.the.swim.platform.to.the.
cockpit. See Figure N-22. To secure the aft fill-in
backrest.(door).to.the.transom,.depending.on.the.
model,.either.slide.the.backrest’s.L-brackets.onto.the.
support.cleats.and.push.down.into.place.or.slide.the.
backrest.with.the.support.facing.down.behind.the.
cleat..See.Figure.N-23..Note:.the.sew.pattern.of.the.
center.backrest.should.match.the.port.and.starboard.
backrest..To.prevent.a.possible.man.overboard.
situation,.make.sure.the.swim.platform.area.is.unoc-
cupied and the cockpit aft fill-in backrest (door) is in
place.before.each.cruise.
To prevent personal injury, DO NOT sit on the
transom walk-thru backrest door.
NOTICE
When towing at highway speeds, be sure
the fill-in cushions and backrests are properly
secured (locked in position). Air currents
(created within the interior when traveling) will
lift the cushions/backrests up and out of the
boat under certain conditions; especially when
semi-trucks or other large vehicles pass by.
N. Aft Walk-Over Center Fill-In Cushion
Certain.models.have.a.walk-over.transom.design...
A walk-over center fill-in cushion along with the
backrest create additional seating. To install the fill-in
cushion,.depending.on.the.model,.either.snap.or.lock.
the.cushion.into.place..See.Figure.N-24..Note:..
The sew pattern of the fill-in cushion should match .
the.port.and.starboard.cushions.
