Engine Cooling System

CAUTION
SYSTEM DAMAGE HAZARD!
The engine cooling system’s seacocks must be Opened before the engines are started and must
remain Open during engine operation.

The engine cooling
system circulates
raw water around
components and also
uses a freshwater
heat exchanger on
the engine to reduce
engine temperature.
Make sure both
engine seawater
intake valves (sea-
cocks) are Open
before starting the
engines and keep the
seacocks Open

while the engines
are running.

The cooling sys-
tem’s seawater
strainers should
be checked for
leaks and debris
every time you use
your yacht.
