Anti-siphon Valve
NOTICE
If an engine running problem is diagnosed as fuel starvation, check the anti-siphon valve.
If the valve is stuck or clogged, change or replace it while the engine is shut down.
NEVER run the engine with it’s anti-siphon valve removed, except in an emergency.

The anti-siphon valve is a vital part of the fuel system.
If a fuel line ruptures, this valve will prevent fuel from siphoning from the tank.
This valve is spring loaded and is opened by fuel pump vacuum.
The anti-siphon valve is located on the tank, where the fuel feed line is attached.
