Procedure for changing engine oil using an oil
changer
1.
Place the outboard motor in a vertical po-
sition (not tilted). NOTICE: If the out-
board motor is not level, the oil level
indicated on the oil dipstick may not

be accurate.

Insert the tube of the oil changer into the
oil dipstick guide, and then extract the en-
gine oil completely.

Start the engine and warm it up until the
engine speed stabilizes at idle speed.
Stop the engine and leave it for 5-10 min-
utes.

Remove the top cowling.
Remove the oil filler cap.

Add the correct amount of engine oil
through the filler hole.NOTICE: Overfill-
ing the engine with engine oil could
cause leakage or damage. If the oil lev-
el is above the upper mark, extract en-
gine oil until the oil level is between
the upper and lower marks.
