Carrying handle
A carrying handle is provided on the rear of
the outboard motor. It enables you to carry
the outboard motor easily with one hand.

Top cowling lock lever (pull up type)
To remove the engine top cowling, pull up
the lock lever(s) and lift off the cowling.
When installing the cowling, check to be sure
it fits properly in the rubber seal. Then lock
the cowling by moving the lever(s) down-
ward.
