Avoid using any oil other than the spec-
ified type.
Use a thoroughly blended fuel-oil mix-
ture.
If the mixture is not thoroughly mixed,
or if the mixing ratio is incorrect, the
following problems could occur.
Low oil ratio: Lack of oil could cause
major engine trouble, such as piston If equipped with a built-in fuel tank
seizure.
High oil ratio: Too much oil could cause
fouled spark plugs, smoky exhaust,
and heavy carbon deposits.

Replace the fuel tank cap and close
tightly.
Shake the fuel tank to mix the fuel thor-
oughly.
Make sure that the oil and gasoline are
mixed.
