BREAKING IN (RUNNING IN)
ENGINE
Your new engine requires a period of
break-in (running-in) to allow mating sur-
faces of moving parts to wear-in evenly.
Correct break-in (running-in) will help
ensure proper performance and longer
engine life.

Failure to follow the break-in (running-
in) procedure may result in reduced
engine life or even severe engine dam-
age.
Do not use pre-mixed fuel in this
engine as it may cause carbon deposits
on the fuel injector thereby causing
engine trouble.
Do not use fuel mixed
with oil during break-in
or under any circum-
stances.
