ENGINE STARTING
Before starting the outboard:

Check fuel and oil levels
Make sure fuel selector switch is in the cor-
rect position for the fuel being used.
Move the tilt/run lever to the RUN position
DO NOT run the engine indoors or
without adequate ventilation or per-
mit exhaust fumes to accumulate in
confined areas. Engine exhaust
contains carbon monoxide which, if
inhaled, can cause serious brain
damage or death.
